2nd Shift Slitter Operator TPC Packaging Solutions Cincinnati, OH Job Details 2 hours ago Qualifications Machine operation High school diploma or GED Full Job Description We are hiring for 2nd Shift Monday-Friday 3:30pm-12am. We are looking for an experienced material conversion machine operator that has previously worked in the converting industry. Candidates with experience in printing, label, or packaging industries are encouraged to apply. Machine Operators will operate various converting equipment to die cut films, tapes, and industrial materials, rewind and slit pressure sensitive tapes. Operator responsibilities include maintaining production runs, troubleshooting machine issues, and visually inspecting finished product as it is being produced to ensure quality and consistency. Responsibilities Operate various types of converting equipment including rotary die cutter, single lathe slitter, slitter/rewinder, flexo printing, and flash cut table. Review work orders to understand scope and parameters of scheduled jobs. Determine material quantities required for each job. Align and configure machine. This includes troubleshooting issues and making basic repairs. Inspect production samples to evaluate quality ensuring conformity to specifications. Package finished material in specified cartons. Other duties as assigned. Requirements Experience working in converting industry, printing industry or related industry. Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail. Strong problem-solving skills and ability to work independently Must be able to physically operate machinery. This involves bending and kneeling frequently, standing for long periods of time, and being able to lift up to 65 pounds at a time. High school diploma or equivalent required.
