Job Description

Manual Machinist/Lathe Operator We are looking for a skilled Manual Machinist/Lathe Operator in Sebring, Ohio, to join a well-established company that has been serving industries since the 1960s. If you have experience operating lathes and reading blueprints, this may be the perfect opportunity for you. You will work on medium to large-sized lathes, load parts with overhead cranes, and ensure precise specifications are met. Hours:
1st Shift, Monday - Friday, 6:00AM - 3:00
PM Pay:
Up to $29.00/hour, depending on experience
Key Responsibilities:
Set up machines by reading customer drawings and holding tolerances to within .001" (and occasionally tighter) Process orders of 1-4 pieces Modify G-Code programs when necessary Set off-sets as needed Select proper tooling and inserts for each job Operate overhead cranes and forklifts
Minimum Requirements:
3-4 years relevant machining experience Ability to read blueprints accurately Knowledge of machine to blueprint specifications Able to work overtime when needed Nice to
Have Skills:
Experience with manual and CNC machining Proficiency in blueprints and precision measurements Forklift and overhead crane operation skills
Preferred Education and Experience:
High school diploma or equivalent Prior experience in a manufacturing environment is a plus
Other Requirements:
Valid driver's license Physical ability to load parts and operate heavy machinery on-site
