  • Full-time Job Overview We are seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented Rotational Mold Operator to join our manufacturing team.
In this role, you will be responsible for operating and maintaining rotational molding equipment to produce high-quality plastic products. The ideal candidate will possess strong mechanical knowledge, proficiency with various fabrication tools, and a commitment to safety and quality standards. This position offers an excellent opportunity to develop skills in plastics manufacturing and contribute to innovative product development. Responsibilities Set up, operate, and monitor rotational molding machines to ensure efficient production processes Perform routine inspections of molds and finished products to verify quality standards are met Maintain accurate records of production runs, machine settings, and material usage Conduct troubleshooting and minor repairs on equipment to minimize downtime Assist in the preparation and handling of raw materials using forklifts and other warehouse equipment Support the cleaning, maintenance, and calibration of machinery such as press brake machines, CNC lathes, and CNC equipment Conduct quality inspections utilizing precision measuring instruments like calipers and micrometers Follow safety protocols diligently while handling plastics materials, hand tools, and fabrication equipment Collaborate with team members on assembly tasks and process improvements aligned with lean manufacturing principles Skills Strong mechanical knowledge with experience in plastics blow molding, injection molding, extrusion, and fabrication techniques Proficiency with programmable logic controllers (PLCs) for machine operation and troubleshooting Ability to operate forklifts safely within a manufacturing or warehouse environment Skilled in using hand tools, calipers, micrometers, and other precision measuring instruments Familiarity with quality inspection procedures and materials handling practices Experience with press brake machines, CNC lathes, CNC machinery, and plastics processing equipment Basic math skills necessary for measurements, calculations, and process adjustments Knowledge of lean manufacturing principles to optimize workflow efficiency Previous warehouse experience preferred for inventory management and materials movement Ability to interpret technical drawings and specifications for assembly or fabrication tasks This position is integral to our manufacturing operations, offering a dynamic environment where safety, quality, and continuous improvement are prioritized.
