Portland, Oregon Reports To:
Production Supervisor Mixer Operator verifies, inspects, prepares, measures, mixes and properly stores all WIP Product and raw materials, in accordance with company policies and procedures, Good Manufacturing Practices (cGMPs), Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) and Batch Production Record (BPR) instructions. Responsibilities and Duties Ensures formulations are completed safely, on schedule and to spec in a fast-paced environment. Assists with the Formulations optimization with R D; of full scale and bench top level; in the production of proper manufacturing processes. Contribute to project-related activities (interpret results, provide critical assessment of data, and draw relevant conclusions.) Work in collaboration with all cross-functional groups to execute change controls associated with Manufacturing and Packaging master records, SOPs and protocols. Work in collaboration with QC, and Inventory Control groups; to ensure raw materials, WIP and finished product; maintains cGMP standards at all times. Completes all training requirements as needed. (in a timely manner) Maintains the organization and cleanliness of ALL work areas. Performs job functions in a safe and efficient manner in accordance with company policies and procedures, Good Manufacturing Practices (cGMPs), Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) and Batch Production Record (BPR) instructions. Responsible for performing additional job-related duties as assigned.
Performs EOD process:
checklist, cleaning, & storing process Performs back-up duties as necessary in regard to the formulations at the Portland Facility. Qualifications Previous experience in a manufacturing environment within the pharmaceutical, nutraceutical or food processing industry is preferred. Basic computer skills Ability to receive instruction, and follow and execute directions. Ability to interact positively with co-workers and management. Ability to communicate effectively with written and oral communication skills. Ability to follow company policies and procedures. Ability to follow cGMP and other regulatory requirements. Ability to operate and troubleshoot warehouse equipment. Detail-oriented with the ability to identify errors and/or inconsistencies while performing tasks. Self management skills. Ability to work both as a part of a team as well as on your own Strong critical thinking and problem-solving skills Flexibility with all work duties and hours
