Job Description
Our company , a manufacturer of parts and services, is seeking a dependable, detail-oriented Compression Mold Press Operator to join our Gasket team. This position is responsible for setting up, operating, and monitoring compression molding presses to produce high-quality molded components in accordance with company standards, safety regulations, and production schedules. The ideal candidate will have experience in manufacturing environments, strong mechanical aptitude, and a commitment to safety and quality. Key Responsibilities Set up and operate compression molding presses according to job specifications and work instructions Load raw materials (Silicone) into molds and ensure proper material placement Monitor temperature, pressure, and cycle times to ensure product quality Inspect finished products for defects, dimensional accuracy, and overall quality Trim, finish, molded products as required Perform routine machine adjustments and minor troubleshooting Complete production documentation and maintain accurate records Follow all safety procedures and company policies Maintain a clean and organized work area Communicate effectively with supervisors and team members regarding production issues Qualifications High school diploma or GED preferred 1-3 years of experience in compression molding or a manufacturing environment preferred Ability to read work orders, blueprints, and production documentation Basic mechanical and troubleshooting skills
