Onsite Responsibilities
  • Perform finishing operations and tasks on completed mold sets to ensure precision and accuracy to specifications from customers using various methods including, but not limited to, hand tools, power tools, and measurement devices.
  • Bench working using various forms of metal working media such as hand filing, sanding, and other manual adjustments and refinements to molds and mold sets.
  • Ability to sandblast.
  • Obtain forklift certification or has existing certification.
  • Mechanical knowledge of bolting sizes and configurations to assemble tooling.
  • Perform part inspection with common measuring tools (e.g., part probe, micrometer, calipers).
  • Follow all work procedures in accordance with safety and ISO standards. Requirements
  • High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
  • Prior work with industrial tooling and molds.
  • Experience using hand tools, industrial equipment, etc.
  • Mechanical experience in an industrial fabrication environment is preferred.
  • Effectively communicate with Production Supervision regarding work schedule and status.
  • Ability to read and interpret safety rules, operating instructions, and procedure manuals.
  • Ability to write routine reports and correspondence.
  • Effectively communicate with other organization groups as required.
  • Ability to work with basic mathematical concepts.
  • Proficient in MS Office and Outlook.
  • Forklift certification or ability to obtain certification.
  • Ability to lift up to 50 lbs. regularly and up to 70 lbs. occasionally.
  • Must be able to stand for most of an 8-10 hour shift and utilize PPE as required.
  • Physical mobility including reaching, overhead work, stooping, bending, kneeling, squatting, side reaching, and twisting.
  • Specific vision abilities include close, distance, peripheral, color vision, depth perception, and focus adjustment.
