About the
Role:
We are seeking a motivated and reliable Injection Mold Set-Up Technician to join our production team. In this hands-on role, you will support Process Technicians by performing mold changes and related tasks to help ensure efficient and uninterrupted machine operations. This position plays a key part in maintaining a clean, organized, and productive manufacturing environment.
Key Responsibilities:
Assist in daily tasks led by Process Technicians to support production requirements. Use a variety of hand and power tools to remove and install molds and auxiliary equipment. Complete the Daily Process/Set-up Checklist to verify readiness for production. Clean molds post-run and return them to the Tool Room. Clear presses and workstations of parts, scrap, and materials after production runs. Operate industrial equipment, including forklifts, powered pallet jacks, and overhead cranes. Submit the last shot/sample to the Quality department for inspection. Maintain a clean, organized, and safe working environment. Work overtime as needed to meet production and business demands.
Qualifications:
Prior experience in injection molding or a manufacturing setting preferred. Proficiency with hand and power tools. Ability to operate or willingness to be trained on forklifts, pallet jacks, and cranes. Detail-oriented, safety-conscious, and reliable. Strong work ethic and a team-oriented mindset.
