Job Description

About Stryten Energy Stryten Energy brings a new name to a long-standing legacy in Lancaster County. Our growing plastic injection molding facility in West Lampeter Township manufactures plastic components for automotive batteries and serves a stable, expanding customer base. Role Snapshot As the Environmental, Health & Safety (EHS) Compliance Technician, you will partner closely with the EHS Manager to design and carry out plant-wide initiatives that reduce risk and elevate key safety and compliance outcomes—recordable injuries, lost time injuries, regulatory conformance, and overall risk reduction. A Day in the Life Start your morning walking the floor, verifying emergency equipment and compliance devices are inspection-ready. Mid-morning, you'll lead a short training session, then pivot to reviewing incident reports and supporting root cause analysis. After lunch, you'll audit waste collection areas, coordinate with vendors on pickups, and update training records—closing the day by compiling data trends for the weekly EHS report. What You'll Tackle Conduct EHS activities across audits, incident investigations, communications, and training. Administer, organize, and deliver environmental, health, and safety training programs; facilitate make-up sessions. Oversee hazardous and non-hazardous waste collection and related inspections. Maintain personal protective equipment (PPE) inventory and place orders as needed. Perform workplace assessments to identify, eliminate, or mitigate risk. Complete weekly inspections of emergency and compliance-related equipment. Support root cause analysis for incidents and near-misses. Maintain monthly training records and ensure documentation accuracy. Compile data from reports to identify trends and assist with weekly reporting. Coordinate with external vendors to ensure adherence to regulatory requirements and internal standards. Handle other EHS-related tasks as needed. What You Bring Bachelor's degree in Occupational Safety and Environmental Health or a related discipline. 0-3 years of experience in an EHS role.
