We are seeking an experienced Injection Molding Operator to support daily operations within a fast-paced molding environment for a client in Bristol, RI. The ideal candidate will have hands-on experience with injection molding, thermoplastic processing, machine setup, robotics, auxiliary equipment, and basic machine maintenance.

Schedule:

Monday-Friday, 6:30 AM-3:00

PM Hours:

40 hours per week Key Responsibilities Set up and operate injection molding machines efficiently for scheduled production jobs. Perform mold setups and thermoplastic processing. Operate injection molding machines, robots, auxiliary equipment, tumblers, and packaging equipment as required. Monitor machine settings, including temperature, pressure, and cycle time, and raise concerns or issues as needed. Perform basic machine maintenance and troubleshooting. Perform heat treating and curing processes as required. Conduct quality inspections and complete inspection plans and reports to ensure parts meet customer requirements. Complete production paperwork accurately and legibly. Follow written and verbal work instructions and established production procedures. Qualifications High School diploma, GED, or equivalent. 3-5+ years of experience in injection molding, thermoplastic processing, machine setup, basic machine maintenance, and/or robotics operation. Hands-on experience operating various injection molding machines, robotics, and auxiliary equipment. Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality. Excellent verbal and written communication skills. Ability to maintain reliable attendance and meet production schedules. Ability to strictly follow written and verbal instructions. Commitment to workplace cleanliness, FOD prevention, and 5S standards. Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced production environment. Ability to work independently with minimal supervision. Ability to occasionally lift up to 50 pounds . Forklift experience required or preferred. Work Environment This is a hands-on manufacturing position in a production environment. The role requires the ability to remain attentive to machinery and production processes while following established safety procedures and quality standards.
