• Greenville is seeking a highly skilled and safety-conscious Injection Molding Machine Operator for a leading plastics manufacturing facility for our customer in the Greer, SC area .

In this technical role, you will report directly to the Production Manager and ensure production orders are executed safely, efficiently, and to the highest quality standards. This is a dynamic role for a self-motivated operator who enjoys a mix of precision machine operation, mechanical adjustments, and hands-on material handling.

• Injection Molding Operator Primary Responsibilities include: Your main responsibility is the smooth operation and troubleshooting of plastic injection molding machines , ensuring maximum efficiency and product quality.

Machine Operation:

Setup, run, and monitor plastic injection molding machines to meet daily production targets.

Mechanical Adjustments:

Safely execute complete mold changes and color changes based on order specifications.

Troubleshooting:

Diagnose machine issues and perform on-the-fly troubleshooting to minimize production downtime.

Material Handling:

Safely operate a forklift to move materials and tooling throughout the production floor.

Quality Control:

Inspect finished products continuously to ensure they meet strict quality regulations and customer standards.

Team Collaboration:

Actively participate in Production Meetings and work collaboratively with team members and leadership.

Documentation & Safety:

Follow all safety regulations, maintain a clean work environment, and keep accurate written records of processed materials.

Injection Molding Operator Requirements include:

Proven Experience:

Minimum of 3 years of prior experience in plastic injection molding is required.

Equipment Skills:

Direct experience with forklift operation and machine troubleshooting is required.

Physical Stamina:

Ability to stand for 8 to 10 hours and lift/maneuver up to 50 lbs. repeatedly without physical restrictions.

Mobility:

Ability to continuously use hands, arms, and legs to climb, balance, walk, stoop, and handle industrial materials.

Work History:

A stable, dependable work history with a history of excellent attendance.

Cognitive Skills:

Strong problem-solving abilities, critical thinking skills, and the ability to follow detailed English written instructions.

Professionalism:

Good verbal communication skills, a positive attitude, and the ability to work independently or seamlessly with others.
