As a Pellet Mill Operator, you will operate pelletizing and production equipment while supporting safe, efficient, and high-quality manufacturing operations. This is a direct-hire opportunity. - 11:00 AM Required Education and Experience
- High school diploma or GED required
- Previous pellet mill experience required Preferred Education and Experience
- Mechanical aptitude and troubleshooting skills strongly preferred
- Forklift experience preferred General Requirements
- Ability to read and follow work instructions and production documentation
- Comfortable working around industrial processing equipment
- Strong attention to detail to ensure product consistency and quality
- Ability to adhere to GMP and manufacturing standards
- Ability to follow safety, PPE, environmental, and quality procedures Essential Functions
- Operate pellet mill and related processing equipment safely and efficiently
- Monitor equipment performance and make adjustments to maintain product quality and throughput
- Start up, shut down, and clean production equipment in accordance with SOPs
- Follow production schedules and batch instructions accurately
- Assist with packaging, labeling, and palletizing finished products
- Identify and report mechanical or operational issues promptly
- Perform basic troubleshooting and minor adjustments on production equipment
- Support preventative maintenance and housekeeping activities
- Maintain clean and organized work areas around production lines and equipment
- Move raw materials and finished goods using forklifts, pallet jacks, or other material handling equipment
- Accurately complete production documentation and inventory transactions
- Ensure materials are staged properly for production runs
- Participate in safety meetings and continuous improvement initiatives Working Conditions
