Job Description
Job description We are seeking an Injection Mold Operator to join our team on 2nd shift. The ideal candidate will be responsible for operating plastic injection molding machines to produce high-quality plastic parts. Job Description
- Operate Plastic Injection Molding Machines while maintaining quality and productivity.
- Responsible for visual inspection of production for defects based on Customer Standards and monitor products for any quality issues.
- Accurately track and record production and rejections on shift report form.
- Dispose of rejected product in proper location, such as Grinder or Trash.
- Notify Supervisor when issues arise.
- Adhere to all Safety Practices.
- Package product per Customer Standards.
- Maintain acceptable level of housekeeping in the assigned work area. Work areas must be kept free and clear of trash or any items which are not necessary to perform work assignments.
- Operate auxiliary equipment that may include weight scales, conveyors and assembly machines.
- Perform any rework process that is required, which may include trimming and cleaning.
- Any additional tasks required by your Supervisor. Qualifications
Physical Demands:
Must be able to lift a maximum of 30 lbs. consecutive or multiple times a day during a 8-10 hr. shift; Able to manipulate tools with both hands. Must be able to stand on feet for 8-10 hours.- Screening Requirements

- High School Diploma, GED, or comparable work-related experience preferred.
- Experience in a fast-paced, production-based manufacturing environment preferred.
- Prior experience as a plastic injection molding machine operator or other manufacturing environment preferred.
Language Skills:
Able to read, write, and communicate in English.- Math skills: Able to add, subtract, and multiply.
- Ability to work well with others in a team environment and independently is essential.
- Strong attention to detail.
