Our Tooling Technicians complete industrial mold changeovers and troubleshooting to ensure our customers receive correct and quality products. This position is ideal for someone that has strong mechanical skills and enjoys a hands-on work. Responsibilities Meet with supervisor to determine daily priorities including tooling requirements, maintenance schedules, and procedures for both special tooling and basic production Perform industrial mold changes and tooling conversions Follow set-up sheet to ensure correct changeover procedures are completed Inspect, clean, and maintain molds and tooling before each production run Maintain orderly work area and production floor Recognize operating irregularities and machine malfunctions and notify designated person or supervisor Complete required reports and documentation for production and quality departments Ensures all duties and tasks are completed in a timely and efficient manner Follow company policies and safety regulations Other tasks as assigned Qualifications Strong mechanical aptitude Working knowledge of power tools Well trained in usage of hand tools Ability to work collaboratively Ability to work autonomously while staying on track and communicating progress Exceptional Organization Skills Plastic or injection molding experience preferred, but not required Ability to lift 50 pounds Prior forklift and overhead crane experience preferred, but will train Ability to work as part of a team or alone unsupervised Compensation Starting rate of $23.00/hour Monday-Friday 7am-3:30pm schedule with opportunities for occasional overtime based on work load Benefits Comprehensive benefits package including PTO, Holiday Pay, Health, Dental, Vision, and Life Insurance Short-term and long-term disability coverage 401(k) retirement plan Offered compensation: $23/hr Experience and License Requirements Forklift (optional) High School Diploma or Equivalent (optional)
