Job Title:
Test Operators (2nd Shift) Job Description This role will support units for in-process testing and final testing. Responsibilities include assisting with testing, training, and documentation, as well as performing testing on the electrical components of control panels. You will utilize voltmeters and ohmmeters, and work in the In Row Heat Exchange department, which is mostly automated. You will receive training on the exact process. Responsibilities Perform testing on electrical components of control panels using voltmeters and ohmmeters. Test heat exchange units and troubleshoot, debug, and diagnose faults based on client metrics. Conduct compliance reporting using Excel and collaborate with electrical assembly technicians to resolve issues and suggest possible repairs. Assist in the build and manufacture of fixtures and tooling to meet customer expectations. Operate a personal computer using a Windows-based operating system and related software. Essential Skills Proficient knowledge of schematics and current flow. Experience with electronics troubleshooting and electrical testing. Ability to read and interpret schematics or prints. Knowledge of AC/DC motor control and switch gears. Capability to define problems, collect data, establish facts, and draw valid conclusions. Additional Skills & Qualifications 2+ years of experience in electronics, electromechanical, or electrical testing in manufacturing. Technical, vocational, or associate degree considered in lieu of hands-on experience. Proficiency in using test equipment such as multimeters, voltmeters, and ohmmeters. Work Environment Work in an extremely clean, temperature-controlled environment with 11 cell stations and large working areas. The department currently has 275 employees, with expected growth to 800 by the end of the year. The team environment is quiet and collaborative. Attire includes composite toe or steel-toe shoes with rubber soles, jeans or work pants, t-shirts or polos. Avoid large dangling jewelry, spandex, and exposed midriffs. The shift is from 6 am to 4:30 pm, Monday to Thursday. Job Type & Location This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Memphis, TN. Pay and Benefits The pay range for this position is $25.00 - $25.00/hr. Eligibility requirements apply to some benefits and may depend on your job classification and length of employment.
