On-site The Impact You'll Make You will play a critical role in supporting safe, efficient, and high-quality rubber manufacturing operations by operating mill equipment and ensuring consistent material processing. Your work directly impacts production output, product quality, and continuous improvement efforts across the plant. This is a 1st Shift position, with shift hours 6:45 am to 5:00 pm, Monday through Thursday. What You'll Be Doing Operate rubber mill equipment to process materials and meet daily production targets. Monitor material consistency, temperature, and processing conditions to ensure quality output. Support setup, changeovers, and adjustments to maintain efficient mill operation. Follow all safety policies, procedures, and PPE requirements. Identify and report unsafe conditions immediately. Maintain a safe and organized work area aligned with 5S standards. Perform quality checks to ensure materials meet specifications. Identify and escalate defects, inconsistencies, or processing issues. Support first-pass yield and scrap reduction efforts. Participate in problem-solving and continuous improvement initiatives. Apply 5S and basic lean manufacturing principles. Identify opportunities to improve mill operation efficiency and workflow. What We're Looking For Required Skills/Qualifications High school diploma or GED (or equivalent experience). Ability to work in a fast-paced manufacturing environment. Strong attention to detail and ability to follow instructions. Basic math and communication skills. Preferred Skills/Qualifications Experience in rubber manufacturing or mill operations . Knowledge of 5S or lean manufacturing principles. Mechanical or machinist experience. Previous production or manufacturing experience.
