We are seeking an experienced Lathe Operator. The Lathe Operator will be responsible for setting up and operating manual and/or CNC lathes to produce precision-machined components according to specifications, quality standards, and production schedules. We are seeking a dependable and safety-conscious Rubber Molding Operator I to join our manufacturing team. The Rubber Molding Operator I is responsible for operating molding machines, inspecting molded rubber products, and ensuring production meets quality and safety standards. This entry-level position requires attention to detail, the ability to work in a fast-paced manufacturing environment, and a commitment to producing high-quality products. Key Responsibilities Operate rubber molding presses and related production equipment according to established proceduresLoad raw materials into molding machines and remove finished products.

Monitor machine operations to ensure proper cycle times, temperatures, and pressures.

Inspect molded parts for defects, dimensions, and overall quality.

Trim, clean, package, and label finished products as required.

Record production data, scrap, and downtime accurately.

Perform routine machine cleaning and basic preventive maintenance tasks.

Identify equipment malfunctions and notify supervisors or maintenance personnel.

Follow all safety procedures, work instructions, and quality standards.

Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work area.

Assist with production changeovers and setup activities as needed.

Work collaboratively with team members to achieve production goals.

Requirements:

High school diploma or GED preferred Ability to read and follow work instructions and safety procedures Basic math and measurement skills Strong attention to detail and quality Ability to work independently and as part of a tem Reliable attendance and punctuality Nice to Have Previous manufacturing or production experience Experience operating molding, press, or production equipment Knowledge of quality inspection techniques and measuring tools Physical Requirements Ability to stand and walk for extended periods Ability to frequently use hands for grasping, handling, and operating equipment Ability to lift up to 50 pounds with or without assistance Ability to bend, stoop, twist, and reach throughout the workday Ability to work in a manufacturing environment with exposure to noise, heat, and moving machinery Ability to wear required personal protective equipment (PPE) Why UTEX?
