Job Description

Job Summary Join our dynamic team as a Torque and Test Operator, where you'll play a vital role in ensuring the integrity and safety of heavy equipment, pipelines, and mechanical systems on oil rigs and construction sites. This energetic position involves operating specialized tools to apply precise torque during assembly and testing processes, supporting the safe and efficient operation of oil & gas infrastructure. Your expertise will help maintain high standards of quality, safety, and performance in challenging environments. Duties Operate torque wrenches and testing equipment to verify proper assembly of mechanical components on oil rigs, pipelines, and heavy machinery Conduct thorough testing procedures on mechanical systems, ensuring compliance with safety standards such as OSHA regulations Assist with rigging, crane operations, excavator handling, and forklift movements to facilitate equipment setup and testing activities Monitor and document test results accurately, preparing detailed reports for quality assurance purposes Support horizontal drilling operations by ensuring mechanical components are properly torqued and tested during installation Maintain safety protocols at all times, including proper use of personal protective equipment (PPE) and adherence to construction site safety guidelines Collaborate with team members to troubleshoot mechanical issues and perform routine maintenance on testing tools and equipment Requirements Proven experience working on oil rigs or construction sites involving heavy equipment operation and pipeline installation Mechanical knowledge related to oil & gas infrastructure, including familiarity with rigging, cranes, excavators, forklifts, and tanker operations Hands-on experience with torque wrenches, testing procedures, and mechanical assembly verification Knowledge of OSHA safety standards and best practices for working in hazardous environments Ability to operate construction equipment such as excavators, cranes, forklifts, and commercial trucks safely and efficiently Strong understanding of horizontal drilling processes and pipeline installation techniques Valid driver's license with commercial driving or tanker endorsements preferred Prior experience in construction or industrial environments involving heavy machinery is highly desirable Join us in delivering excellence across demanding projects while advancing your skills in a fast-paced industry.
