Skills That Get You Hired High school diploma or GED preferred. 2years of experience operating cut thread or similar CNC/manual threading machines in a manufacturing environment. Experience working with alloy steel and specialty fastener materials preferred. Ability to read blueprints and use precision measuring instruments. Strong mechanical aptitude and troubleshooting skills. Ability to lift up to 50 lbs and stand for extended periods. On the Job Set up and operate cut thread machines to produce threaded bolts, studs, rods, and specialty fasteners. Read and interpret blueprints, work orders, and technical drawings. Select proper tooling, dies, and machine settings based on material type and thread specifications. Monitor machine performance and make necessary adjustments to maintain quality and production efficiency. Perform in-process inspections using calipers, micrometers, thread gauges, and other measuring tools. Ensure threads meet tolerance, pitch, and class specifications. Troubleshoot minor mechanical issues and perform routine machine maintenance . Maintain accurate production and quality records. Follow all safety guidelines and company procedure s. Keep work area clean and organized.
