reviews $28•$30 an hour•Full-time Precision Group, a 40-year old manufacturer of plastic injection molds and products, is hiring an Injection Molding Process Technician with at least 5 years of experience. A strong work ethic is a quality we look for and being a team player. Drug test is required. We seek a skilled manufacturing professional responsible for setting up, operating, maintaining, and troubleshooting plastic injection molding machines and robots to ensure high-volume production efficiency and part quality, optimize machine parameters (temperature, pressure, speed), perform tool/mold changes and troubleshoot defects to meet safety and quality standards.

Key duties:

ISO9001 and

ISO13485 QS

system. Installing molds, setting machine controls and auxiliary equipment. Optimizing parameters to maximum cycle times and minimize scrap. Troubleshooting issues such as short shots, flash, warping or robotic failures. Performing preventative and minor machine maintenance Quality Control to include inspecting parts to specifications with calipers and gauges

Qualifications and Skills:

5 years in plastics manufacturing with experience in automotive or high-volume environments Understanding thermoplastics and automation/robotics. Strong mechanical aptitude, troubleshooting skills and ability to read blueprints High school diploma with specialized training or certifications preferred.
