Job Description

Description Blow Mold Production Technician Job Summary:
The Blow Mold Production Technician monitors automated production equipment, maintains supply of production materials, inspects parts, operates forklift, and various other tasks, all with a major emphasis on quality and safety.
Supervisory Responsibilities:
    None Duties/Responsibilities:
    • Operates production machinery in accordance with specifications
    • Inspects equipment prior to use to ensure proper setup and alignment; performs basic and routine adjustments and maintenance
    • Understands the processing aspects of equipment, performs quality checks, and reports any defects to shift Leadership and QA
    • Performs bottle testing procedures and enters data into SPC collection center
    • Makes processing adjustments to the machine as needed
    • Maintains logs and records of units produced including a record of errors resulting in rejected or discarded pieces
    • Maintains a clean, safe, and orderly work area
    • Performs other related duties as assigned
    Requirements Required Skills/Abilities:
    Ability to follow directions and work well in a team Thorough understanding of or the ability to quickly learn production equipment Strong analytical and problem-solving skills Excellent interpersonal and communication skills Understanding of and the ability to abide by applicable OSHA and environmental regulations Interested in Continuous Improvement and able to thrive in a self-directed environment
