Mold Remediation Technician

Job Overview We are seeking a reliable and hardworking Mold Remediation Technician with experience in roofing and ventilation installation. This role focuses on performing mold remediation work and improving moisture control through the installation of vents, ductwork, baffles, and roofing-related ventilation systems. The ideal candidate has hands-on experience in mold remediation and/or roofing, understands airflow and moisture management, and is comfortable working in attics, crawl spaces, and on rooftops. Key Responsibilities Perform mold remediation work, including containment, removal of affected materials, and cleaning of impacted areas Set up and operate remediation equipment such as air scrubbers, dehumidifiers, and air movers. Install and replace vents, ductwork, and baffles in attics and crawl spaces Assist with and perform roofing-related tasks tied to ventilation (roof vents, exhaust venting, etc.) Identify and address ventilation issues contributing to moisture and mold (no formal inspections required) Ensure proper airflow and moisture control through quality installation practices Follow all safety protocols, including PPE use and safe work practices on roofs and in confined spaces Maintain clean and organized job sites and properly dispose of debris Communicate effectively with team members regarding job progress Qualifications Experience in mold remediation, roofing, or general construction required Working knowledge of roofing systems and attic ventilation Ability to work at heights, on roofs, and in confined spaces (attics and crawl spaces) Strong work ethic, reliability, and attention to detail Physically capable of lifting, climbing ladders, and performing labor-intensive tasks Valid driver's license and reliable transportation Preferred Skills Experience installing roof vents, ridge vents, soffit vents, and ducting systems Familiarity with moisture control and building ventilation principles Work Environment This position involves working in residential and light commercial settings, including rooftops, attics, living spaces, and crawl spaces. Conditions may include heights, tight spaces, dust, and varying weather conditions.
