Sanmina Corporation has facilities strategically located in key regions throughout the world. Injection Molding Technician, 3pm - 11pmMon-Fri Job Purpose:
To set up injection molding machines in accordance with set up work instructions and provide processing support for production in the plastic injection molding areas. This position will be called upon to use Scientific Molding principles to troubleshoot existing processes that are resulting in scrap in excess of allowable standards.Nature of Duties:
- Prioritize and set up injection molding machines following SUWI and production schedule.
- Provide troubleshooting expertise to resolve injection molding process problems
- Optimize process parameters including automation settings to reduce cycle times
- Be a liaison between Production and Process Engineering to assure open lines of communication are maintained
- Maintain a clean and organized manufacturing area, adhering to 5S standards.
- Organize all needed equipment into a work station as needed
- Supply material to the work stations as needed
- Remove completed product from work station as needed.
- Utilize computer skills including Microsoft Excel, Word, Google Docs, and other computer programs.
- Support Lean/Six Sigma initiatives within the facility
- Assist in advancing technical problem solving skills among the technician group.
