Part-Time Stump Grinder Operator Maplewood Tree Care is looking for a reliable, experienced Stump Grinder Operator to join our team on a part-time, as-needed basis. This is a great opportunity for someone looking for flexible, supplemental work. We typically need someone for a few days at a time every 2-3 weeks, depending on our workload. What You'll Do Operate a stump grinder safely and efficiently Grind tree stumps and surface roots Work carefully around homes, landscaping, driveways, utilities, and other property Perform basic equipment checks and maintenance Clean up job sites after grinding Work independently and alongside our tree crew when needed Follow all company safety and property-protection procedures Communicate with customers What We're Looking For Previous stump grinding experience preferred Experience operating outdoor power equipment Valid driver's license Reliable transportation and dependable attendance Ability to work independently with minimal supervision Comfortable performing physical outdoor work Safety-conscious and attentive to surrounding property Someone who takes pride in doing clean, quality work Schedule Part-time / as needed Typically a few days at a time every 2-3 weeks Schedule varies based on our workload Flexible supplemental work rather than a guaranteed weekly schedule About Maplewood Tree Care We are a local, family-owned and operated tree service serving the Madison and surrounding Dane County area.
