Job Description:
The Molding Technician supports the production needs of the operation by setting up, adjusting, and troubleshooting machines with assistance and/or direction from management or qualified associates. 2nd
Shift:
Monday to Friday from 3:00pm-11:00pm 3rd
Shift:
Sunday to Thursday from 11:00pm-7:00am
Duties and Responsibilities:
Set-up, operate, and maintain equipment as needed to support operations Make professional and lasting modifications and repairs to existing equipment with direction from management or qualified associates Responsible for cosmetic criteria as specified and communicating criteria to employees Relay pertinent product and quality related information to Operators, Inspectors, Supervisors, and peers , in both written and verbal forms D ocumentation of production, maintenance, and QC audits performed Organizing and maintaining the order and cleanliness of equipment, storage areas and the d epartment as a whole Other duties and projects, as required by production and business need
Education, Skills, and Experience:
High School Diploma or equivalent r equired Previous manufacturing experience 2+ years of Injection molding experience Established ability to identify and communicate issues and offer proposed solutions Great attention to detail is required Ability to manage interruptions in a professional and respectful manner is essential Above average basic math skills and reasoning ability Moderate computer and Microsoft Office skills Successful completion of Mechanical Aptitude test Milwaukee Tool is an equal opportunity employer.
