Setup Blow Mold Technician-Night Shift 7pm-3:15am Mon-Fri

MAJOR RESPONSIBILITIES

• Work and maintain a safe environment.
• Change over and ensures machines are setup correctly (Injection molding machines, blow molding machines, assembly, punch lining, printing machines, and other downstream equipment) so that they make and maintain a quality container.
• Change over and maintain various types of downstream equipment (leak detectors, take outs etc.)
• Change and clean tooling and screws.
• Maintain and update process sheets
• Document all changes during set up and processing
• Trouble shoot processing issues during startup and production runs.
• Work with various types of material
• Work with process engineers and setup team on new projects.
• Work with the production operators and cross train.
• Work with Quality department and maintenance and cross train.
• Promote safety and work safely throughout the facility following all Safety Policies
• Wearing all Personal Protective Equipment (PPE) and required GMP gear.
• Be aware of all Emergency Exits and know procedures for Emergency Evacuation.
• Knowing the location of the SDS Safety Data Sheets and how to utilize properly.
• Know not to operate any equipment or perform any work without the proper training and authorization to complete the task safely.
• Always follow proper LOTO lock out/tag out procedures.
• Never remove or bypass machine guards and NEVER while the machine is in operation.
• Be cautious and aware of lift trucks and moving equipment.
• Report all injuries or accidents to the Department Lead or Manager or immediately.
• Understand and follow plants housekeeping guidelines.
• Identify and implement lean and continuous improvement actions.
• All other duties as assigned
• Member of the HACCP team upon request

Pay:

$24.00 - $33.00 per hour
