This role supports new store openings, equipment setup, basic maintenance, and on-site troubleshooting. The ideal candidate is practical, detail-oriented, willing to travel between store locations, and comfortable solving problems in a fast-paced environment. Responsibilities Store Opening Support Assist with new store setup, including equipment placement, basic installation coordination, and opening preparation. Support equipment testing and store readiness checks before opening. Help resolve on-site issues during the pre-opening and soft-opening period. Coordinate with contractors, vendors, repair technicians, and internal teams to ensure store opening timelines are met. Equipment Maintenance Perform basic inspections and troubleshooting for store equipment, including tea machines, ice machines, refrigerators, freezers, fryers, sealing machines, and small kitchen equipment. Identify basic equipment issues and communicate clearly with management or outside repair vendors when professional service is needed. Conduct routine equipment checks across store locations to reduce downtime and support smooth store operations. Track equipment issues, repair progress, and follow-up items. Store & Field Support Assist with small repairs, basic handyman work, equipment moving, minor installations, and store improvement tasks. Support existing stores with urgent operational or equipment-related needs. Maintain clear communication with store teams and headquarters. Complete other store opening and maintenance-related tasks as assigned. Qualifications Experience in food service, beverage shops, restaurant operations, equipment maintenance, construction coordination, handyman work, or related fields is preferred. Basic knowledge of small appliances, refrigeration equipment, kitchen equipment, electrical or plumbing troubleshooting is a plus. Strong hands-on problem-solving skills. Reliable, responsible, and able to follow through on tasks. Comfortable working in the field and traveling between store locations. Able to handle some physical work, including lifting, moving equipment, and assisting with store setup. Valid driver's license and reliable transportation preferred. Basic English communication skills required; bilingual English/Chinese is a plus. Nice to Have Experience with chain restaurant or beverage store openings. Familiarity with tea shop or quick-service restaurant equipment. Basic skills in plumbing, electrical, carpentry, or general repairs. Ability to organize task lists, repair records, and project updates. Flexibility to support urgent needs during new store openings.
