Senior Circular Economy Parts Recovery Analyst Location:
Auburn Hills, MI Pay Rate:
Up to $46.68/hour We are seeking a Senior Circular Economy Parts Recovery Analyst to support automotive parts recovery, reuse, remanufacturing, and scrap reduction initiatives. This role focuses on maximizing financial recovery, reducing waste, and supporting sustainable manufacturing operations through cross-functional collaboration with Engineering, Quality, Supply Chain, and Operations teams. The ideal candidate will have experience in automotive parts recovery, supplier management, quality systems, inventory analysis, and process improvement within a manufacturing or industrial environment. Responsibilities Lead recovery and disposition activities for production scrap, service parts, and cores
Coordinate reuse, repair, recycling, and remanufacturing decisions with cross-functional teams
Manage supplier recovery and repair programs, including audits and performance reviews
Support quality assurance, traceability, packaging, and compliance requirements
Analyze inventory, warranty, and obsolescence data to identify recovery opportunities
Develop work instructions, reporting processes, and continuous improvement initiatives
Support engineering change management, part supersessions, and disposition tracking
Present recovery metrics, financial impact, and operational updates to leadership
Mentor junior analysts and support global or overseas operational teams Qualifications Bachelor's degree in Supply Chain, Engineering, Manufacturing, Business, or related field preferred
5+ years of experience in automotive parts recovery, remanufacturing, quality, supply chain, or plant operations
Strong project management and analytical skills
Experience working with suppliers, audits, corrective actions, and quality systems
Proficiency with Microsoft Excel, PowerPoint, and reporting tools
Strong communication and stakeholder management skills Preferred Skills Circular Economy, core management, or scrap recovery experience
Knowledge of 8D, 5 Why, FMEA, Pareto analysis, and continuous improvement tools
Experience with ERP/MRP systems and inventory management platforms
