Job Description

Manufacturing TechnicianPosition Overview We are seeking a skilled and detail-oriented Manufacturing Technician to support daily production operations, assist with equipment setups, and maintain crucial process documentation. The ideal candidate brings a strong technical background in manufacturing environments, hands-on mechanical skills, and familiarity with process software and tools.
Key Responsibilities Production Support:
Troubleshoot manufacturing equipment and support daily production operations to minimize downtime.
Equipment Installation:
Assist with the installation, setup, adjustment, and testing of manufacturing machinery and equipment.
Documentation:
Create, update, and maintain detailed process documentation, technical drawings, and manufacturing specifications.
Process Improvement:
Apply knowledge of Lean Manufacturing principles to optimize workflows and assist with product costing analysis.
Qualifications & Requirements Experience:
2+ years of manufacturing experience preferred.
Education:
High school diploma or associate degree preferred.
Technical Skills:
Proficiency with MS Office, MRP systems (JD Edwards experience is a major plus), and SolidWorks.
Tools & Processes:
Strong knowledge of process documentation practices and comfort using standard hand tools. Physical Demands & Work Environment Ability to lift up to 50 lbs regularly. Comfortable working in a dynamic manufacturing plant environment with exposure to industrial noise and occasional chemical contact.
