If you love creating beautiful landscapes, then we want to talk to you! What does a landscape plant maintenance crew member do? Maintain landscaped areas and plant material on residential and commercial properties. Pruning, mulching, weeding, cutbacks, and cleanups on a regular schedule and as needed. Assist with landscape install and tree work as needed/seasonally. Work well independently as well as on a team while caring for customer properties. Interact professionally with customers on a daily basis communicating the process and expectations of services. Possess a general knowledge of plant maintenance practices. Continue on the job training for all aspects of RYAN provided services along with recommendations for other RYAN services as needed on their property.
Requirements:
3 years' experience in landscape plant maintenance or related field High school diploma, (Horticulture degree preferred) Working knowledge of plant identification, proper pruning and common issues by species Commercial applicator's license or ability to obtain within 90 days of hire Valid driver's license Ability to obtain DOT medical certification Ability to lift 50lbs Ability to push/pull objects while walking up to 3 miles a day •

This is a safety-sensitive position requiring the operation of vehicles and equipment. All candidates must successfully complete a pre-employment drug screen (including marijuana), criminal background check, MVR check, and DOT physical (where applicable) before starting employment.
