Role Overview BEPC is actively seeking an experienced Engineering Technical Specialist to support our customer in Miamisburg, OH. This hands-on role supports Carbon Monoxide (CO) distillation operations by providing technical expertise in equipment maintenance, process optimization, troubleshooting, and project execution. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in mechanical, electrical, or chemical engineering, with the ability to work independently, solve complex technical problems, and support continuous improvement initiatives in a chemical manufacturing environment. Key Responsibilities Support the safe and efficient operation of Carbon Monoxide distillation processes. Perform routine maintenance, troubleshooting, and repairs on distillation equipment, reactors, condensers, and separation systems. Conduct electrical troubleshooting, equipment installation, and system repairs. Manage calibration, preventive maintenance, and asset management activities. Support small engineering projects related to process improvements and equipment upgrades. Collaborate with Engineering, Operations, Maintenance, and Quality teams to optimize production processes. Identify opportunities to improve equipment reliability, efficiency, and safety. Ensure compliance with ISO, cGMP, and company safety standards. Maintain accurate maintenance records, compliance documentation, and work reports. Assist with quality initiatives and safety training programs. Train and mentor maintenance personnel and junior team members as needed. Independently manage assigned tasks and contribute to project objectives with minimal supervision. Qualifications Required Skilled trades certification, Associate's degree, or Bachelor's degree in Engineering Technology or a related technical discipline. Strong mechanical and electrical troubleshooting skills. Experience supporting industrial or chemical manufacturing operations. Strong hands-on technical aptitude and problem-solving abilities. Self-motivated with the ability to work independently. Excellent organizational and communication skills. Ability to prepare technical documentation and work reports. Experience supporting preventive maintenance and equipment reliability programs. Preferred Qualifications Experience working in a chemical plant or process manufacturing environment. PLC troubleshooting experience. Mechanical and chemical process experience. Experience supporting distillation or industrial processing equipment. Knowledge of ISO and cGMP manufacturing environments. Experience managing multiple technical projects simultaneously. About
