Job Description

Overview Join our dynamic manufacturing team as an Assistant Assembly Manager, where you'll play a pivotal role in driving production excellence and operational efficiency. Responsibilities Assist the Assembly Manager in overseeing daily production activities on the manufacturing floor, ensuring adherence to safety, quality, and productivity standards Support production planning and scheduling using ERP (Enterprise Resource Planning) systems such as SAP to optimize workflow and resource allocation Monitor and analyze supply chain data and manufacturing metrics to identify opportunities for process improvement and waste reduction Lead efforts in implementing lean manufacturing principles and continuous improvement initiatives across assembly lines Coordinate with supply chain management teams to ensure timely procurement of materials and components needed for assembly operations Conduct quality control inspections throughout the assembly process to maintain high standards and reduce defects Support plant management in maintaining compliance with safety regulations, operational procedures, and quality standards Skills Strong background in production management within a manufacturing environment, with experience in assembly operations Proficiency with ERP systems such as SAP and MRP (Material Requirements Planning) tools for production planning and inventory control Knowledge of lean manufacturing techniques, process improvement strategies, and continuous improvement methodologies Mechanical knowledge relevant to assembly processes and equipment maintenance Ability to analyze supply chain data and utilize supply chain analytics for decision-making Excellent organizational skills with a focus on operations management and plant management principles Effective communication skills to collaborate across departments and lead teams toward shared goals This role is ideal for proactive professionals eager to make an impact in a thriving manufacturing setting.
