Your Role:
The Technical Specialist
  • Maintenance at the Milwaukee, WI site serves as a vital anchor for the facility's upkeep and operational reliability.
This multifaceted role is responsible for the strategic planning and scheduling of maintenance activities, as well as the streamlined procurement of essential parts and the management of comprehensive contractor documentation. As a key guardian of work quality, the Specialist identifies and assesses mechanical or operational challenges, providing effective solutions rooted in established precedents and best practices. Furthermore, this role is empowered to use professional discretion to refine and modify existing work processes, driving continuous improvement and maximizing departmental efficiency.
Job duties include:
Drive site-wide operational continuity by processing incoming work requests, executing scheduled work orders, and meticulously maintaining the CMMS asset hierarchy. Configure new equipment and functional locations within the CMMS while ensuring all existing asset data remains accurate and up to date. Optimize maintenance efficiency by creating detailed task lists and maintenance plans, while supporting procurement efforts and parts inventory management as needed. Create purchase requisitions, place orders with approved vendors for routine commodities, and proactively coordinate with the maintenance team to expedite backordered or overdue deliveries. Maintain the department procurement databases and collaborate with external contractors to ensure the accurate completion of all mandatory refrigerant handling documentation. Serve as a key contributor to the 6S team by identifying and prioritizing critical tasks to ensure all individual, departmental, and site-level objectives are met Enhance site-wide efficiency by mastering cross-departmental systems, facilitating process improvements for inventory accuracy, and promoting a safe, collaborative environment through proactive time management and employee cross-training. Execute specialized maintenance projects with high autonomy, applying process improvement techniques to departmental workflows while maintaining databases and proactively identifying operational gaps.
Who You Are Minimum Qualifications:
High School Diploma or GED 1+ years of professional experience in a maintenance, industrial environment, or specifically demonstrating the ability to manage at least two of the following: planning/scheduling work orders, coordinating parts and materials inventory, or executing procurement and purchasing documentation.
Preferred Qualifications:
Proficient in various PC software, CMMS, web browsers, and MS Office applications. Demonstrate exceptional analytical and interpersonal skills, with a proven ability to collaborate effectively across diverse teams through clear communication and cultural sensitivity. Proven proficiency in SAP, with direct experience executing purchase orders and requisitions and contributing to Lean process improvement initiatives. RSREMD Pay Range for this position: $31.00

The actual compensation offered will be determined by factors such as location, level of experience, education, skills, and other job-related factors.
