This role is vital in ensuring that all pipeline installation activities are executed safely, efficiently, and in accordance with project specifications and industry standards. As a Pipeline Foreman, you will coordinate teams, manage resources, and maintain quality control to deliver successful project outcomes. Your leadership will drive productivity, uphold safety protocols, and ensure the timely completion of complex pipeline projects across various construction sites. Responsibilities Supervise daily construction activities on pipeline projects, ensuring adherence to safety regulations such as OSHA standards and construction site protocols. Coordinate with project managers, engineers, and subcontractors to develop and follow detailed project schedules Read and interpret blueprints, schematics, and technical drawings to guide installation processes accurately. Manage on-site management of materials, equipment (including ohmmeters for electrical testing), and personnel to optimize workflow and productivity. Oversee quality control measures, including inspection of pipe laying, backfilling, and testing procedures like pressure tests with appropriate tools. Monitor project budgets, track costs related to labor, materials, and equipment Ensure compliance with all safety standards including OSHA regulations; conduct regular safety meetings and inspections. Review contracts and scope of work documents to ensure project milestones are met within contractual obligations. Lead troubleshooting efforts on-site for technical issues related to pipeline schematics or construction challenges. Maintain detailed documentation of daily activities, safety incidents, progress reports, and inspection records. Experience Proven management experience in heavy civil construction with a focus on pipeline installation or related infrastructure projects. Extensive construction site experience with a strong understanding of construction management practices. Supervising teams in fast-paced environments while maintaining high standards for safety and quality. Familiarity with project scheduling experience with construction management software is preferred. Knowledge of blueprint reading, schematics interpretation, and construction estimating techniques. Hands-on experience with tools like ohmmeters for electrical testing within pipeline systems. Strong understanding of OSHA safety regulations relevant to heavy civil construction projects.
Pay:
$22.00 - $35.00 per hour
