Pete Lien & Sons, Inc. is a regional producer of construction aggregate, ready mix concrete, lime, and industrial minerals. There is currently one opening for a motivated Summer Intern to support our operations in LaPorte, CO. The position works 10 hour shifts with a Monday - Thursday day shift schedule. Applicants should be enrolled in a post-secondary institution with a focus on construction, engineering, finance, or business. First year students are encouraged to apply. Responsibilities include supporting mining and processing plant operations. Specific daily tasks will cover a wide range depending on the experience and background of the successful candidate.

These tasks may include:

Project work as appropriate Data collection and interpretation Plant inspection and auditing Water truck operation Skidsteer operation Forklift operation Stationary equipment operation and maintenance This position requires a highly motivated, self-starter who is willing to work outdoors doing physical work and operating equipment.
