Job Description

Liquid Plant Supervisor Are you a seasoned agriculture professional who thrives on keeping a complex operation running like clockwork? Rocky Mountain Agronomics (RMA) is looking for a Liquid Plant Supervisor to lead our liquid plant team and own the day-to-day success of the facility. At RMA, we don't just move product — we pride ourselves on exceeding customer expectations through quality and service. If you're looking for a leadership role where your expertise in plant operations, equipment, and people management is genuinely valued, we want to talk to you. What's In It For You?
Real Ownership:
You'll run the plant your way, with full responsibility over safety, blending, maintenance, inventory, and the team.
Leadership That Matters:
Directly shape the culture, performance, and growth of the people around you.
Local Impact:
Support the agricultural operations that feed the region — your work has meaning beyond the plant walls.
Stable, Year-Round Work:
Busy seasons focused on production, with off-seasons dedicated to plant upgrades, improvements, and projects.
What You'll Do Lead Daily Operations:
Oversee safety, blending, loading/unloading, maintenance, inventory management, and customer coordination end-to-end.
Coordinate Delivery:
Work with dispatch and drivers to ensure the right product reaches every customer on time, every time.
Manage Equipment:
Maintain tanks, pumps, hoses, mixers, and all related tooling — minimize downtime and direct repair priorities.
Develop Your Team:
Handle scheduling, task delegation, policy adherence, and support hiring and retention to build a strong, capable crew.
Own Inventory:
Oversee incoming product unloading, processing, and stocking of all required materials and additives.
Drive Improvement:
Build and maintain SOPs, lead plant projects, and partner with the safety coordinator to protect your people.
What We're Looking For Experience:
Five (5) or more years of experience in agricultural operations, fertilizer plant operations, or a closely related industrial setting, including equipment and system maintenance. Two (2) or more years of experience in a lead, supervisory, or management role with direct responsibility for directing the work of others.
Problem Solver:
Proven ability to diagnose, troubleshoot, and resolve operational issues quickly and confidently.
Organized Leader:
Strong ability to prioritize workflows, manage work order sequences, and keep multiple balls in the air.
People Manager:
Prior experience leading a team with strong communication and teamwork skills. Physical Requirements Comfortable with frequent sitting, standing, and lifting (up to 50 lbs). Ability to bend, twist, climb, reach, kneel, and crawl frequently. Standard visual and auditory ability required (with or without correction). Benefits & Growth Competitive salary Generous PTO starting day one — plus 8 paid holidays. Medical insurance with a company-funded HRA Dental and vision coverage after 90 days. 401(k) with immediate vesting and company match — up to 100% on your first 3% saved. Company-paid life and AD&D insurance — $50,000 coverage at no cost to you. Ready to Take the Lead? If you have the experience and the drive to run a top-tier liquid plant operation, apply today. We look forward to meeting you. Rocky Mountain Agronomics is an equal opportunity employer. We consider all qualified applicants without regard to race, color, religion, sex, national origin, age, disability, veteran status, or any other protected characteristic. We encourage applicants from all backgrounds to apply.
