We are currently seeking a dedicated Supervisor, Radiation Protection to oversee our radiation safety protocols and ensure compliance with federal and state regulations. This key role is instrumental in maintaining the well-being of our workforce and the safety of the communities we serve by preventing unnecessary exposure to radiation and managing radiation protection programs. Responsibilities Develop, implement, and monitor radiation safety policies and procedures in accordance with regulatory requirements. Supervise and train radiation protection personnel to ensure safety standards are upheld. Conduct and oversee radiation risk assessments to identify potential hazards. Coordinate with other departments to integrate radiation safety measures into overall safety plans. Maintain records of radiation exposure and safety compliance documentation. Manage the use of radiation monitoring instruments and personal protective equipment. Regularly review and update emergency response plans for radiation incidents. Liaise with federal and state regulatory bodies to ensure compliance and report on radiation safety issues.
