The Advanced Locating and Pipeline Services Technician Field Lead is responsible for leading and helping to supervise the employees within their team in the Advanced Locating Department. They will work daily with the Operations Manager to coordinate in field duties for their team members, while help to coach and maintaining full compliance for company policies, client policies, compliance needs, operational needs, and all necessary work tasks. Service duties include leading and providing the team with direction, focus, and support. The Alt Lead will also need expertise on all job tasks including; observing, locating, marking, and documenting pipeline locations underground and exposed, an exceptional quality ratio is required. This individual should be well organized, work well within a group setting, and demonstrate exceptional leadership skills. The ALT Lead will also help audit and continue training and development of all team members. GridHawk LLC is an equal opportunity employer. We will provide you the tools you need to achieve including: Company vehicle, laptop, and smartphone Proper PPE, including safety glasses, safety vests, hard hats, etc. Duties will include, but are not limited to: Locate underground facilities using multiple methods Troubleshooting, utilizing multiple pieces of equipment, etc. Expose utilities by hand when needed Direct Field Technician's in safe and efficient digging practices Identifying repair needs and completing repairs Fixing broken tracer wire, track, and weld tracer wire to pipeline, etc. Reading and identifying work site conditions Corrosion readings, soil readings, etc. Route ticket
