Shift TBD Job Summary UK HealthCare is seeking a Radiation Safety Technician to support the UK HealthCare Radiation Safety Program. This position will provide services and coverage across the HealthCare enterprise in a variety of work areas in the identification, remediation and control of radiation hazards including radioactive materials, machine produced ionizing radiation and laser safety. This position is patient and provider facing and focused on the clinical environment.

Skills / Knowledge

/ Abilities MS Office radiation detection instrumentation, radiation dosimetry, strong communication and interpersonal skills. Does this position have supervisory responsibilities? No Preferred Education/Experience Experience working with radiation in a health care environment is preferred. Training or experience in radiation safety or a healthcare field is strongly desired.
