GLO Resources is currently hiring a Heavy Equipment Operator Foreman to work locally within Lafayette, LA . The weekly pay is $1200 - $1900 depending on experience. The schedule is Monday-Friday, 6:30 am to 4:30 pm, with occasional overtime, night shifts, and weekends as needed. Fuel or truck allowance can be provided. Position Summary:

We are seeking an experienced Operator Foreman for a civil construction company. This role will lead field crews and oversee daily operations on grading, excavation, drainage, utility, and site development projects. This position will combine hands-on equipment operation with crew leadership, job site coordination, and a strong focus on safety, productivity, and quality.

Key Responsibilities:

Lead and supervise field crews on grading, excavation, drainage, utility, piping, earthwork, box culverts, and site development projects. Operate heavy equipment, including dozers, excavators, motor graders, pavers, and skid steers. Read and interpret construction lans, field stakes, and layouts. Coordinate daily onsite activities to maintain productivity and project schedules. Perform equipment inspections and ensure proper maintenance. Monitor jobsite safely, quality, costs, and production. Communicate effectively with project managers, inspectors, and field personnel. Train, develop, and provide direction to crew members. Promote a positive, accountable, and team-oriented work environment. Responsible for routine inspection and maintenance of equipment. Perform other job related duties as assigned

Qualifications:

5+ years of heavy equipment operation experience require. 3+ years of foreman or crew lead experience preferred. Experience with grading, excavation, drainage, and utility installation. Ability to read construction plans, understand field stakes, and perform layout. HCSS/ Heavy Job experience preferred. Strong leadership, communication, organization, and decision-making skills. Understanding of construction scheduling, job costs, safety, and quality control. Basic math skills, including measurements, ratios, percentages, fractions, and decimals. Ability to manage day or night shift crews as project needs require. Valid Driver's License. Must be able to pass a drug screening and background check.

Physical Requirements:

This position involves regular physical activity, including: Standing for prolonged periods. Frequent bending, kneeling, and crouching. Pushing and pulling heavy objects. Lifting and carrying up to 50 pounds.
