Ishpeming, Michigan Cleveland-Cliffs has immediate openings for Concentrating Plant Attendants at our Tilden Mine operation located in Ishpeming, Michigan. This position provides support for the concentrating process. Summary of Responsibilities Perform daily inspections on plant equipment Attend to plant equipment in the grinding, crushing, concentrating, dewatering and other areas as required Perform plant clean-up duties such as hosing floors and shoveling Operate small equipment (i.e. loaders, forklifts, ect.) Other duties as assigned Minimum Qualifications High school diploma or GED equivalent required Must be at least 18 years of age Have the ability to read, understand and follow safety information, operating instructions and procedure manuals Excellent safety record and genuine concern for safety in the workplace Excellent attendance record Must be willing to work rotating shifts, nights, weekends and holidays Must be willing to work 12-hour shifts Preferred Qualifications Two years of experience working in an industrial plant setting Cleveland-Cliffs Inc. is the largest flat-rolled steel company and the largest iron ore pellet producer in North America.
