Job Description

Position Overview:
We are seeking a detail-oriented operator to support our prep and extraction production operations. As a Prep & Extraction Operator, you'll play a vital role in ensuring the safe, efficient, and effective production of soybean meal, hulls, pellets, and crude oil within required product specifications. This position is on night shifts from 7:00 PM to 7:00 AM. The schedule is a 2/3/2 that provides every other weekend off. Pay starts at $20.00 per hour, with an additional $2.00 per hour for the night shift premium.
Key Responsibilities:
Safety First:
Adhere to safety policies, procedures, and OSHA regulations to uphold a strong safety culture . Identify and promptly address workplace hazards . Under your direction, conduct continuous inspections of key process points, make necessary machinery and equipment adjustments, identify problems with equipment, and continually monitor equipment. Monitor and adjust operations using computerized and controlled systems to meet department requirements. Gather samples of laboratory analysis as scheduled/required and perform and record required control analyses. Perform all types of general facility maintenance and housekeeping, including equipment inspections, repairs, adjustments, and monitoring throughout the facility. Maintain accurate logs of key production variables such as production volume, yield, plant uptime, and utility consumption on a timely basis
Qualifications:
Safety Conscious:
Prioritize safety at all times.
Education:
Must have a high school diploma or equivalent
Technical Aptitude:
Knowledge of mechanical processes, and aptitude for spatial awareness and quantitative reasoning.
Experience:
