Job Description
Job Summary The Plant Operator is responsible for overseeing the daily operation of the ready-mix concrete plant and sales of aggregates, ensuring efficient production, quality control, and compliance with safety standards. This role involves operating batching equipment, monitoring material inventory, and coordinating with dispatch and drivers to meet customer requirements. Key Responsibilities Operate truck weight scales and batching controls to produce ready-mix concrete according to specifications. Monitor and maintain material inventory (cement, aggregates, admixtures) for continuous production. Perform routine inspections and preventive maintenance on plant equipment. Ensure compliance with safety, environmental, and quality standards. Communicate with dispatch and drivers to coordinate timely deliveries. Troubleshoot and resolve operational issues promptly to minimize downtime. Maintain accurate production and maintenance records. Keep plant and yard clean and organized.
