Position Summary:
The Crushing Plant Operator is responsible for the safe, efficient, and productive operation of crushing, screening, and conveying equipment used in aggregate, mining, quarry, or recycling operations. This position monitors plant performance, performs routine inspections, troubleshoots equipment issues, and ensures production goals are met while maintaining compliance with safety and environmental standards.
Job Duties:
The essential functions include, but are not limited to the following: Operate and monitor crushing, screening, and conveying equipment safely and efficiently. Inspect equipment and perform routine preventative maintenance. Troubleshoot operational issues and report maintenance needs. Monitor product quality and production levels to meet specifications. Maintain a clean and safe work environment. Follow all company safety policies and
OSHA/MSHA
regulations.
Qualifications :
High school diploma or GED required. Experience operating crushing, screening, aggregate, quarry, mining, or industrial processing equipment preferred. Mechanical aptitude with the ability to identify and resolve basic equipment issues. Strong commitment to workplace safety. Ability to work outdoors in varying weather conditions and perform physical job duties. MSHA, OSHA, heavy equipment operation, or maintenance experience preferred. Pay:
$27.85 per hour Expected hours: 50.0 - 60.0 per week
