Job Description
Relief Operator operates multiple production units, monitor control systems, and troubleshoots basic process issues with limited supervision. High school diploma or equivalent required; technical diploma or associate degree preferred. Minimum 3-5 years of plant operations experience in a similar industry (e.g., power, chemical, manufacturing, water treatment). High level of safety and quality. Ability to multi-task at a fast-pace (at times), work in outside conditions during all seasons, climb multi-levels by stairs & ladders, work from elevated platforms, use hand tools (shovel, hammer, wrenches, etc.) Good problem-solving skills. Proficiency in operating control systems (SCADA, PLC, DCS). Strong mechanical and/or electrical aptitude. Working knowledge of industry regulations and safety standards (e.g., OSHA, EPA, ISO). Basic computer literacy for reporting and data entry. Mine Safety and Health (MSHA) Knowledge
