"Combined Cycle Plant Operator"
Operations and Maintenance Technician Job:
An entry level job as an Operations and Maintenance Technician is available at the Hermiston Generating Plant in Hermiston, Oregon. Combined cycle plant operator experience is preferred but not required. This is a stable position with an established company within the energy industry.
Pay and Benefits:

Qualified candidates will be motivated, self-directed, and reliable individuals who are mechanically or electrically inclined and have a desire for knowledge and professional growth. High School diploma or equivalent required. Associates Degree (AA) or equivalent from a two year college to technical school preferred.
Job Description:
Participation and progression in the site specific 42-Month Plant Operator Qualification Program Properly operate HRSG, Steam Turbine, Gas Turbine, Plant auxiliary equipment and systems during normal and emergency operation Proficient computer skills (Microsoft office programs) entering data to spreadsheets, analyze data. Monitor plant equipment and take readings Repair & maintain plant equipment and machinery Monitor chemical offloads Perform basic chemistry on plant water Perform plant clean up Work Safely!
Hours :
Operations and Maintenance Technicians work a 12 hour rotating shift, (the DuPont Schedule). Every 28 day cycle you will work 14 shifts and have 14 days off. 7 of the 14 days off are consecutive providing you one week off every 28 days. The shift includes built in overtime and additional overtime is required during plant shut downs or emergencies.
