POWERPLANT TECHNICIAN
(LEVELS I-IV) Are you ready to take the next step in your power generation career? We're seeking motivated Power Plant Technicians to support the safe, reliable, and efficient operation of a state-of-the-art gas-fired power facility. This is an excellent opportunity for professionals with operations and maintenance experience who are looking to expand their technical skills and grow within a dynamic power generation environment. What You'll Do Operate, monitor, and control plant systems from the control room Execute plant startups, shutdowns, and equipment switching procedures Respond to alarms, troubleshoot equipment issues, and support system reliability Perform preventive and corrective maintenance on mechanical, electrical, and instrumentation equipment Coordinate maintenance activities while maintaining operational and commercial commitments Develop and follow operating procedures to support safe and efficient plant performance Promote a strong safety culture through compliance with Lockout/Tagout (LOTO), confined space entry, hot work, electrical safety, PPE requirements, and other safety programs Train and mentor team members while continuing to develop technical expertise Qualifications High School Diploma or GED required 2+ years of power plant, industrial, or related operations/maintenance experience preferred Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving abilities Basic computer proficiency Effective verbal and written communication skills Ability to work independently and as part of a team Must successfully complete the Power Plant Operations and Maintenance Selection System (POSS/MASS) assessment Physical Requirements- Ability to climb ladders, stairways, and elevated structures up to 75+ feet
- Ability to work in confined spaces and outdoor environments in varying weather conditions
- Ability to lift up to 50 pounds
