Job Description

Plant Operator - LNG / RNG facility $30 - $35 per hour 401k matching 5% Bonus up to $4000 per month Life, vision, dental insurance South Park, PA Opportunity to join a hands-on, rotating-shift environment operating a Renewable Natural Gas (RNG) production facility . This is a high-responsibility role where you will oversee safe and efficient plant operations, monitor process systems, troubleshoot equipment issues, and support overall plant performance while working closely with the Operations Supervisor and maintenance teams. The Landfill Gas Plant Operator is responsible for the safe, proper, and efficient operation of all plant equipment, including compressors, pumps, blowers, vessels, dryers, analyzers, and supporting systems. You will monitor equipment from the
SCADA/HMI
systems and in the field while ensuring compliance with environmental, safety, and operational standards. Plant Operator Key Responsibilities Operate and monitor landfill gas processing and RNG upgrading equipment. Track plant performance via
SCADA/HMI
systems and field inspections. Perform startup, shutdown, and operational adjustments as needed. Monitor process variables and maintain production and quality targets. Conduct routine inspections and troubleshoot mechanical, electrical, and process issues. Support maintenance activities and participate in planned outages. Maintain safety, environmental compliance, and proper use of PPE. Accurately document operational and maintenance activities and communicate plant status to supervisors. Plant Operator Qualifications High School Diploma or GED. Valid driver's license and acceptable driving record. Ability to work rotating shifts, weekends, holidays, and on-call. Ability to read and understand operating procedures and safety documentation. Experience with industrial process equipment, landfill gas/RNG, natural gas, wastewater, or chemical processing is beneficial Mechanical aptitude and troubleshooting skills.
Pay:
$25.00 - $35.00 per hour
