Job Description

Rapidly Growing Organization with Interests in Energy, Natural Resources, Mining, Power Generation, and Real Estate Development Seeks Plant Equipment Operators. Rausch Creek is looking to hire Power Plant Control Room Operators at our Tremont, PA power plant operation. The ideal candidate will have a strong understanding of coal generation processes, excellent technical skills, and commitment to safety. This role requires the ability to work on a rotating 12-hour shift work, night shift, weekends, and holidays schedule. Key Responsibilities include but not limited to:
  • Operate and monitor boiler, steam turbine generator, and auxiliary equipment in a co-generation plant.
  • Perform routine inspections and maintenance tasks to ensure optimal operation of equipment.
  • Utilize computer and technology-based work management systems for tracking and documenting work activities.
  • Respond to operational issues promptly and efficiently, ensuring minimal disruption to plant operations.
  • Collaborate with team members to maintain a safe and efficient work environment.
  • Adhere to safety protocols and regulations to maintain a safe working environment.
Qualifications and Skills:
  • Full-time availability for rotating, 12-hour shifts, including nights, weekends, and holidays.
  • Prior experience in operation of boilers, turbine generator and auxiliary equipment.
  • Experience with heavy equipment operation or water treatment is a plus.
  • Proficiency in using computer systems and technology-based work management systems.
  • Strong attention to detail and problem-solving skills.
  • Ability to work effectively in a team environment.
Job Type:
Full-time Pay:
$27.00 - $35.00 per hour
