As a Plant Operator , you'll play a critical role in keeping our facility running safely and efficiently while learning the full ethanol production process from start to finish. Pay & Growth Opportunity This role is built on a pay-for-skills progression model —meaning your earnings grow as your capabilities grow. Start at $26.00/hour with increases starting as early as 90 days Self directed progression through pay-for-skills process - you control how fast you get raises! What You'll Do No two days are the same. In this role, you will: Learn and operate all areas of the plant, including grain handling, fermentation, distillation, drying, boilers, and water treatment Monitor systems and make real-time adjustments to keep processes running safely and efficiently Follow and apply Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) and Energy Control Procedures (ECP/LOTO) Prepare equipment for maintenance and support maintenance teams during repairs Perform preventative maintenance and assist with troubleshooting Maintain a clean, safe, and organized work environment Uphold all safety, environmental, and compliance standards What We're Looking For High school diploma or equivalent 2+ years of plant or industrial experience preferred—but not required Willingness to learn and take initiative Ability to read safety data sheets (SDS) and follow procedures Basic computer skills (Microsoft Office and ability to learn new systems) Valid driver's license Minnesota Special Boilers License (preferred, not required) Schedule & Work Environment 12-hour rotating shifts (days & nights required) 24/7 operation, including weekends and holidays Participation in an on-call rotation Occasional overtime opportunities This is a role for someone who values teamwork, accountability, and consistency .
