Technical Proficiency:
Strong lease operating skills, including SCADA systems management, tank gauging, and the operation of gas separators, heater treaters, pumping units, plunger lift, and gas lift systems, enabling you to make informed decisions and drive operational efficiency.
Equipment Mastery:
Monitor and maintain oil and gas production equipment with precision—quickly identifying and resolving issues to minimize downtime.
Strong Documentation Skills:
Accurately and efficiently record lease operations to support seamless data flow and operational visibility.

Job Responsibilities and Essential Functions Follow best practices and comply with all Company Environmental, Safety & Regulatory requirements, actively participating in safety meetings, JSA reviews, Stop Work Authority, LOTO, and SOP procedures. Oversee the operation of oil and gas production equipment, including SCADA systems, separators, flow lines, engines, compressors, tanks, ECDs, and more. Perform advanced lease operating functions such as SCADA systems management, tank gauging, and operation of three-phase gas separators, heater treaters, line heaters, pumping units, plunger lift, and gas lift systems. Prepare oil tanks for product sales and coordinate oil and water loads with dispatch to ensure efficient and accurate fluid handling. Monitor and maintain assigned wells through daily operations checks, data gathering, and routine maintenance to minimize downtime. Read and record gas meters and tank gauges, convert measurements, and ensure accurate and timely documentation of lease operations. Operate company vehicles in compliance with all driving laws and company vehicle use policies. Synchronize production data daily to ensure timely access to critical information across the team. Conduct environmental inspections to meet CHPHE, EPA, State of Colorado, COGCC, and Company requirements. Participate in route reviews and share well and facility knowledge with Foremen, Production Engineering, Facility Engineering, and other operational teams. Build and maintain positive relationships with landowners through daily interactions. Troubleshoot, repair, and replace equipment as needed, handling non-routine issues with confidence. Support the training and development of other lease operators through knowledge sharing and hands-on guidance. Perform duties year-round in a variety of weather and driving conditions, including rain, snow, mud, and other challenging environments. Education and Experience (required) Must be at least 18 years of age. At least 10 years of experience as a Lease Operator. Hands-on experience with gas lift and plunger production as a lease operator. High School Diploma or GED preferred. Other Requirements Must be able to pass a pre-employment background screening Must be able to pass a pre-employment drug test Position is subject to ongoing drug testing as a term of continued employment. Valid driver's license, acceptable motor vehicle report, and good driving habits Ability to legally work in the US without sponsorship Additional Information Compensation Compensation amount for this role is targeted at $43.00 - $44.00 hourly in this location. Overtime will be paid at 1.5x regular rate for any hours over 12 hours in a shift and/or 40 hours in a week. Final offer amounts are determined by multiple factors including candidate experience and expertise and may vary from the amount listed above. Candidates currently residing in locations outside of daily commuting distance will be considered, however, no relocation or travel assistance will be provided by the Company for this position. Work Environment This position operates in a field environment. This entails working outside in variable weather conditions. Employee could be exposed to extreme weather conditions, fumes, airborne particles, vibrations or dust. Physical Demands In the performance of the duties and responsibilities of this job, the employee is required to have visual acuity to operate a motor vehicle and view a computer terminal for prolonged periods of time. While at work sites, the employee will be expected to walk and stand. Individuals might be asked to climb, balance, stoop, kneel, crouch, reach, and/or crawl. Individuals might be required to lift, carry, push, or pull up to 50 lbs. in the performance of this position. Position Type and Working Hours This is a full-time position. This position will require working nights and weekends occasionally as dictated by the operational needs of the field. Typical work hours are from 6 a.m. to 6 p.m. Employees must be capable and willing to work overtime as required. Employees responsible for project operations are expected to monitor and, in some cases, respond to emails, calls, or texts outside of business hours. Schedule This position requires a 12-hour shift, ensuring continuous coverage and operational efficiency. The current schedule is eight (8) days on with six (6) days off (subject to change). As part of the work schedule, you will be expected to work weekends and holidays, contributing to our mission during these special occasions. Night shifts and overnight shifts are essential to maintain round-the-clock operations and optimize production. Overtime may be required. Travel Routine, even daily, travel to remote locations will be expected. Overnight stays may be required from time to time for training, seminars, or visits to other company office locations.
